Advertising Policy

You may notice some advertising on our site. We do our best to minimize such things, but when it is necessary, we may include sponsored articles and display advertising from third parties whose messages are of value to our communities.

Why do we allow messages from advertisers?

  • Sufo offers an optional service for its partners to generate revenues from display advertising on their private group pages. Physician societies and specialty conferences receive 97.5% of the fees collected and can use these funds to subsidize future activities for their members.

  • It helps pay the bills.

  • Our goal is to provide our physician communities with the best collaborative tools available. Constant software updates, ongoing site development, hardware upgrades, rich media handling and web hosting services are all significant expenses.

  • We also have full-time employees who are responsible for dedicated content acquisition and vetting the credentials of prospective members.
